Optos Daytona High Resolution Wide-Field Imaging

The Optos Daytona ultra-widefield scanning laser technology supports the detection, diagnosis, analysis, documentation and management of ocular pathology and disease. In addition, the Daytona is unique in that it also has special filters to acquire 200° autofluorescence images of the fundus in addition to color images.

We offer this best-in-class technology as either a screening tool to aid in the early diagnosis of possible eye diseases, as well as a medical diagnostic test for those already in some visual stage of an eye health problem.

Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography (SD-OCT)
Optos' OCT SLO system combines industry-leading spectral OCT imaging with a confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope (SLO) in one highly advanced instrument. The Optos OCT SLO is the only device on the market that can conduct structural OCT and functional microperimetry testing all in one instrument. This combination makes it easier for eye care professionals to effectively assess and monitor treatment results in the most complex retinal diseases.

Electrophysiology Testing (VEP/pERG)
The Diopsys® NOVA Vision Testing System is a non-invasive medical device used to help your eye doctor objectively measure the function of the entire visual pathway from the lens of the eye to the visual cortex of the brain. Similar to a heart EKG, the test is painless and does not require dilation or sedation. The Diopsys® NOVA Systems are the only objective visual testing devices designed for the eye care professional’s office capable of evaluating the entire visual pathway.

We are testing patients following a neurological event such as a traumatic brain injury, stroke, or a degenerative process such as multiple sclerosis in order to help detect visual deficits such as optic nerve disorders, amblyopia and other neuro-visual disorders. This instrument also aids in tracking the loss of visual functioning in diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

Humphrey Threshold Visual Field Analyzer
Your peripheral vision, or side vision, is very important for your visual function, and is also affected by many eye conditions.

Many times, subtle changes in your peripheral vision are not noticed. The Humphrey Automated Visual Field allows us to detect any vision loss that you may not have noticed otherwise.

This is important for conditions such as Glaucoma, retinal detachments, optic neuritis, retinal blood vessel blockage, brain tumors, ptosis (lid lag), auto-immune conditions like lupus, and many others.

Zeiss Atlas Corneal Topographer
Corneal topography is a medical imaging technique for mapping the surface curvature of the cornea, the outer structure of the eye. Since the cornea is normally responsible for some 70% of the eye's refractive power, its topography is of critical importance in determining the quality of vision.

The three dimensional map is therefore a valuable aid and can assist in the diagnosis and treatment of a number of conditions; in planning and assessing refractive surgery or therapy; or in verifying the fit of contact lenses.
